Soft Tissue Grafting

Common soft tissue grafts include:

  • Free gingival graft – This type of graft is most commonly used for thickening existing tissue.
  • Connective tissue graft – This is the most common treatment for root exposure.

Graft can be taken from the roof of the mouth or from the commercial tissue bank.
